After-School Art Club
Each session is built around a playful theme that sparks imagination and guides kids through the creative process.
We meet once a week for a 1.5 hour class in a small group setting.
Kids explore a wide range of materials such as watercolor, pastels, acrylics, clay, and fiber arts. As they experiment with new tools and techniques, they build confidence, creativity, and a strong artistic voice.

Looking for a fun, creative experience without a long-term commitment? Our Children’s Workshops offer one-day and short-term project-based art sessions. Each workshop introduces exciting themes and materials, from mixed media and painting to 3D art and creative crafts.
Workshops are designed to let kids explore their creativity, try new techniques, and bring home a finished project — perfect for young artists who love variety and hands-on fun.

What Makes
Our Classes Special

At Arty Critters, every project begins with a guided discussion to spark curiosity and deepen understanding. This might look like story time, observing a piece of artwork or object, or learning fun facts about our subject for the day.
We encourage your child to see, think, and wonder. Express their ideas in their own way. As your child grow more familiar with art terms, materials, and color relationships, their creativity and compositions naturally become more thoughtful and expressive. Instead of aiming for identical results, we celebrate your child’s individuality, storytelling, and unique artistic voice.
In a world shaped by AI, creativity is your child’s superpower.
Art builds imagination, original thinking, and emotional intelligence.
Skills machines can’t replace.

“My 7 yr old is loving the art classes. She's asking when she can go again. I love that children get to experience different types of painting. Highly recommend Arty Critters!"

My daughter had the best time at Arty Critters! Mrs. Brown and her daughter Lili are amazing with the kids in their class. All the classes are so unique we had trouble picking which one to start with, but chose Squishmallow class. It was adorable and fun. My daughter is hooked on art now and it’s so fun to have a local (to us) option for her to pursue this hobby. And my kitchen stays clean ;) we are planning to sign up for the after school program!

My daughter who is 8 1/2 absolutely loved her Squishmallow workshop! She was very happy and proud of the projects she got to work on that day. Wonderful instructor and her assistant!

Not only is this place creative, clean, safe, and fun but the best part is the instructor. She was so kind and accommodating to my anxious kiddo. Came home with some special art.

Hi there
I'm Kyla!
A Mama, proud co-owner of Lili's Creations Face Painting with my 11-year-old daughter, and the creative soul behind Arty Critters.
You may have seen our mother daughter duo at many local birthday parties, school events, or community festivals around Bonney Lake and nearby towns. Painting sparkly unicorns, superheroes, and lots of happy faces! What started as a fun weekend activity with my daughter turned into something much more meaningful — a way for me to reconnect with my background in art and share creativity with families in our community.
Now through Arty Critters, I get to bring that same joy into our cozy, home studio space where kids can explore, create, and express themselves through art. Whether it’s their first time picking up a paintbrush or they’re always dreaming up new ideas, I’m here to cheer them on and help their imagination thrive.
Thanks for being here, I can’t wait to create with your little ones!
